The HMS Fortitude and her sister ships are the backbone of the Royal Navy's defence forces. Used to protect the British Empires Naval Yards and Strategic locations in both Great Britain and throughout the world from the ever present threat posted by enemies, both domestic and foriegn.


Although slow and difficult to manovour; more like a floating fortress rather than a warship, the Bastion class is reknowed for its heavy fire power and ruggedness making it ideally suited to its role. It has several poweful searchlights to aid its search for targets during darkness.
